FAQs

When will we know whether we officially broke the record!?

WE DID IT! We found out late evening on June 1st that  Guinness World Records labelled us the new world record holders for world's largest ever online art lesson! Congratulations if you took part and thank you for making this happen!

How do I get a certificate?

Head to our homepage at www.artworldrecords.com or click here to access the certificate to download, print and add your name!

What should we do with our drawing from the lesson?

👉POST it on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ArtWorldRecords. Check out all the people who've posted so far on our WE WERE THERE page!

👉PUT IT UP in your window at home

👉PRINT the certificate we send you a week or so after the event, once we know it's official!

What if I didn't register everyone in my household individually who watched on a single device?

For 24 hours after the event we will allow people to register who haven't registered individually already but did participate. Please register everyone in your household that participated at www.artworldrecords.com if it's not too late.

How do I make sure me and my family members who are participating each count?

To make sure you each count you need to use different email addresses to register at www.artworldrecords.com. We know this might be tricky especially for young participants. If you have access to any other family/friend email address please use that so we can get an accurate understanding of how many people are participating.

Not everyone in my family has an email address to register. What do I do?

To make sure you each count you need to use different email addresses to register at www.artworldrecords.com. We know this might be tricky especially for young participants. Do I need to stream from multiple devices if we have multiple people in our household participating?

The number of registrations we get (for individuals participating) will help us better understand how many of you are joining. You can certainly stream from multiple devices to be safe but we will be providing both the YouTube analytics data and the Registration numbers to Guinness World Records after the event to get the final number.

I didn’t get a registration confirmation email, am I registered? Will I count?

YES! You are registered (with or without a confirmation email) If you’ve checked your spam/junk folders and still no sign of an email we’re so sorry - our system is overloaded with thousands of registrations and not everyone is receiving the confirmation email as they should. Don’t worry though, you are registered and are counted in for the attempt (as long as you actually show up to the lesson on time!).

Is the lesson live and do we have to attend it on time?

Yes Rob Biddulph will be streaming from his YouTube channel. To access the live lesson link go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSUN5vR4QZY. You need to be there for the lesson to start at 4pm BST so please get there early to be safe and stay there till the end of the lesson.

How do I access the lesson?

Access it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSUN5vR4QZY

Do I have to log in to access the lesson?

Nope just head straight to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSUN5vR4QZY, no login required.

What do I need to take part in the lesson?

All you need is a device to stream the lesson live, this link to access the lesson, some paper, at least one pencil (but also different colours if you have them! Not to worry if you don’t) or a pen. And of course to show up on time to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSUN5vR4QZY and stay for the full 30 minutes drawing along with Rob :)
